The Best spring festivals
British newspaper the Independent named the 10 most interesting festivals taking place this spring. In the list of the best European events came and Dance Open – the ballet festival in St. Petersburg. In Tallinn . bearing the title of cultural capital of Europe 2011, 21–26 March spring festival “Estonian music days” . reports The Independent. The festival is mainly dedicated to contemporary music and young composers in Estonia. In the programme – works by composers from Helsinki, Tallinn, Moscow, Stockholm, dedicated to Tallinn. The main events will be three in April gala concert: concerts of Russian and international stars of ballet and a concert in honor of the anniversary of the ballerina Natalia Makarova.
At the gala concerts are expected Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev, Denis and Anastasia Matvienko, Viktoria Tereshkina and Leonid Sarafanov, American troupe Rock the Ballet, dancers from the Royal Ballet Covent Garden, New York City Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi theatre and Mariinsky theatre.
Among the activities also scheduled a free screening of the film Ballets Russes in the cinema House.
Another highlight of this spring, according to the British newspaper, will be the 21-th Guitar festival in Barcelona (April 1 – 21 may).
In may in Brighton . England, will start several festivals:
45th Brighton arts festival (7–29 may), one of the largest of its kind, and the 30th Festival doors open (7–8, 14–15, 21–22, 28–29 may) in the House of artists, and new music festival the Great Escape .
13–15 March throughout the UK Museum Night will be held long from Friday to Monday. All of the museums and galleries of the country will work at night, planned for more than 150 events for guests!

In Paris began ethnographic Festival of imagination . which will last until June 15.
